Pilates – Stott Method

The Pilates method of mind-body conditioning is a unique system of stretching & strengthening exercises.  Pilates will strengthen and tone your muscles.  It will improve your posture, flexibility, and balance, without adding bulk.  The Pilates method develops “thinking” bodies.  Strength is tied to purpose.  You learn to work with your body, not against it.  We offer 4 levels of Pilates Classes. Classes taught by Shari Mosthaf, Andrea Wirtz, Deb Wizniak, Kelley Berting, and Nadeane Nelson,  Internationally Certified Stott Pilates Instructors.

Cost for all Pilates classes are $65 for 10 weeks.

Classes starts Monday, Jan 14 OR Tuesday, Jan 15.

Introduction to Pilates

This is where the new Pilates student begins.  Basic concepts and principles are learned.  Exercises are kept simple.  Emphasis is on core body and proper body alignment.  Pre-requisite:  No major injuries or surgery within the last 6 months OR pregnancy.  If you have any health conditions and want to try pilates, please speak to the fitness coordinator at Registration night to see if a group mat class is appropriate for you.

Class limits are 10 participants.  Please note that these classes do fill up very quickly!  Please bring a towel to class.  Attendance at the first 2 classes is MANDATORY!

If you need to miss the first 2 classes, you will need to speak to the instructor to arrange a time to learn the content you have missed as the exercises in Pilates are cumulative.
