Oscar the mouse is our school mascot, he is a puppet that helps us in our classroom each day and enjoys listening to all the stories the children have for him.
Oscar's other job is to travel the world. We have several 5x7 pictures of Oscar that we lend out to our families that are going on vacation. The children are very willing to pose with Oscar on the beach, in front of the Disney castle or at Grandma's for a sleep over. They bring Oscar back to school with their pictures and tell the class about their trip then we post the pictures on our Map wall and show the children how far Oscar has gone from home.
