Neighbourhood Watch is a program aimed at raising awareness of, and reducing crime in our community. The concept is to encourage participation from individuals by caring for their immediate surroundings. The Neighbourhood Watch provides an opportunity for neighbours to get to know each other. The program alerts residents to the potential of crime and personal safety. Neighbours working together through Neighbourhood Watch can control crime in their area. Regina Crime Stoppers Information on Regina Crime Stoppers can be found in the following articles. Getting Started We need volunteers to be area co-coordinators. The area co-coordinators will recruit block captains. Representation from all of the areas of Arcola East Community would be ideal and beneficial to all residents for the program to be effective. More information will be available once we have the area captains established.
