Unboxed: Unpack the Essentials to Improving Mental Health and Wellbeing This half-day activity-based, hands-on camp will strengthen and build youth mental health and wellness. Youth will learn about mental health, identify feelings and reactions, as well as build their own coping tools and strategies. All activities will incorporate a pillar of mental wellness. This camp is designed for youth aged 11-14 (grades 6-8), divided into groups according to age. The camp leaders, Michelle (MPsych) and Janna (RSW), have over 45 combined years of experience working with youth. They are passionate about building youth up to become their best selves. The camp is limited to 12 students per group so every youth is seen, heard and validated. Canadian Arts Camp for Kids: Exploring Canada While learning about Canadian authors, illustrators, artists and musicians, children will explore Canada's diverse landscape through dance, dramatic play, art, music, yoga and mindfulness. At the end of the camp, students will receive a custom-made T-shirt and take home their own watercolor pallet to practice the skills they have learned throughout the week. All camp instructors have their Bachelor of Education as well as additional training in the fine arts and yoga. T-shirt and take-home pallet are included in the price.
